The review

The order people impose after appetite.

Chopsticks lie perfectly parallel across the lower basin. Two scallion rings hold the left; a measured chili deposit balances the right. Noodle fragments gather around the drain but do not visibly enter its basket, placing the scene in Orbit rather than Catch.

The receipt corner is unreadable and therefore more effective. It introduces the possibility of takeout without confirming it. The result is less a meal than an alibi assembled from table manners.

What it says about the owner

This image predates the main Larkspur Court record. It establishes Mara's habit of aligning utensils even when the rest of the kitchen is untidy. Later observations repeat the gesture with a spoon, two butter knives, and the handles of cups turned east.

Order, in Mara's kitchen, is rarely cleanliness. It is direction.
