The review
A triumph of very small holes.
The fine mesh retains what ordinary baskets surrender: oat dust, coconut splinters, and the smallest toasted fragments. They collect in a clean triangular fan with one almond sliver at its inland edge. The banana end waits beyond the ring, blunt and unmistakable.
It is a technically excellent Conjunction. The catch documents the bowl; the remainder documents preparation. Morning moves left to right in one frame.
What it says about the owner
Subject E-2, named Nadia, prepares breakfast in jars before photographing school portraits. She calls the banana end “the handle” and usually freezes it with the peel for weekend bread. On this Monday she leaves it in the basin and misses her bus.
The archive could call that waste. Her diary calls it the morning she stopped trying to make every useful habit survive a difficult week. By Saturday, the next handle is in the freezer.
