The review
A morning small enough to hold in a circle.
The mesh strainer turns ordinary rinse water into a star chart. Rolled oats occupy the southern half, one blueberry anchors the center, and a sunflower seed appears at the north. A pale banana thread supplies the only line. The bitten strawberry outside the strainer is a basin remainder, but because it appears to come from the same bowl we treat it as contextual evidence rather than a formal Conjunction.
Texturally, the entry is excellent: soft fruit, flattened grain, hard seed, luminous water. Its legibility is immediate and its composition looks more deliberate than it can possibly be.
What it says about the owner
Mara's workday begins at eight-thirty. For most of autumn, sink activity starts at eight-twelve. This entry is the first evidence of breakfast before the alarm. She has washed the bowl, opened the curtains, and left the apartment with enough time to walk one stop before boarding her own route.
Recovery sometimes looks like a blueberry caught where it should be.
