The review
Luxury, accident, and a very good drain.
Few basins are prepared to flatter leftovers this thoroughly. The green marble turns a damp pear slice into sculpture and gives the cheese rind a monastic gravity. Grape stems provide line; bread supplies weight; aged brass centers the scene.
As a sink snack, it fails traditional placement completely. As a study in the larger basin remainder, it is nearly unsurpassed.
What it says about the owner
This is not Mara's apartment. It is the rented house at the end of her father's old route map, photographed on the first evening she and Tom reach the coast. The snack is assembled from provisions eaten while standing at an unfamiliar counter.
The quantity suggests sharing. The arrangement suggests no one yet knows where the compost is kept.
Field note 009-I
Site conditions differ from the Larkspur Court baseline. Owner-signal rating is therefore deliberately low despite strong narrative context.
